New bunkering operator enters at Las Palmas

Peninsula Petroleum, which had been selling fuel through Cepsa, enters as its own operator at La Luz port in Las Palmas.
They plan to supply around 80.000 tons per month, which means servicing up to 150 ships monthly.

The strategic location of Las Palmas encouraged Peninsula Petroleum to bet for this port, considering that northern Europe or Mediterranean ports may have congestion or availability problems in future.
