Ducar discharges with their new hose system for first time

Ceuta’s Ducar Oil terminal discharged for first time through the new system of hoses installed in the third alignment of Poniente dock where the draft is over 13m, allowing to berth ships with twice the load that they had been operating before.

The oil company carried out different tests in these facilities, before the first official discharge of 35 Kt of fuel performed by MT Stone I.

The average discharge rate reached 1,200 tons per hour using two lines which link Poniente dock to the facilities of Ducar 1 in San Amaro.
